The Chrome browser cache over time, builds and collects small pieces of info from each site that is visited. Sometimes it gets so jumbled, that this will slow or stop the browser itself when trying to load a page. Follow the steps below to resolve this issue.

1. Open the Chrome browser and select the menu icon.

2. Scroll down to and select “Settings”

3. Scroll down to and select “Privacy”

4. Look for and select “Clear browsing data”

5. At the next screen, you will have the ability to clear everything from the browser (browsing
history, cookies and site data, which are your site passwords, and then the cache. At this time,
we want to select the checkbox next to “Cached images and files”.

6. Select “CLEAR DATA”. This will free up lost memory for the Chrome app.

That’s all. Enjoy your slight speed boost inside of Chrome!
